2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Premium
The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter began it’s life as a work truck. Through and through, it’s main focus has been utility. In fact, just last year even, the German luxury brand released the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Worker. It was released as the most affordable Sprinter of all time, sacrificing every amenity under the sun. This all kind of made sense until now. The 2017 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Premium is in the works right now and commercial functionality will be the last thing on its plate, unless you are starting a taxi service for the wealthy.
Living up to the Mercedes-Benz name, the Sprinter Premium will come with almost every feature as a standard. In the same way that the Sprinter WORKER comes with no standard features or even the option of upgrade, the Sprinter Premium will not come with the option of downgrading any features or materials.
Driver assistance is more popular in passenger vehicles right now, but only because commercial businesses don’t want to spend the extra money for the upgrade. This may all change, however, with the Sprinter Premium because it will come with such features as Crosswind Assist, PRE-SAFE braking, and even Lane Keep Assist. Doesn’t that sound like a better business model than an overtired employee driving blind?
United States Release
Unfortunately for us, the Sprinter Premium is only going to be available in Europe at first. What else is new, right? The van will definitely make it to the United States, but probably not until 2018 or 2019. You can rest assured when it is available in the U.S., we will have it here at Mercedes-Benz of Arrowhead!
