Mercedes-Benz has had a big year in the technology department. The cheapest convertible in the United States for 2016 is the Smart Fortwo Cabrio. Sorry if we got your hopes up, but actually we’re being totally serious when we say it is worth the investment. It is the only convertible you can get brand new for less than $20,000, it weighs less than 2,000 pounds, gets up to 39 miles per gallon, and comes with a turbocharged engine. Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric SUV Release Date
Here in the United States, there are tax benefits in some places for citizens who drive low- or zero-emission vehicles. Similarly, there are benefits car manufacturers can take advantage of for selling hybrid and electric cars. This is true in other parts of the world also, but recently, Germany just upped the ante for car manufacturers who can produce electric cars. Shortly after this announcement, Mercedes-Benz made a statement promising 4 new electric cars by 2020. Now, we aren’t scientists, but we can’t imagine a world where the GLC doesn’t make the cut for this. The Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric SUV is more than a possibility, it is an opportunity for a release date like no other. (more…)
