Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 Electric Specifications

A week and a half ago, the internet erupted into celebration over the Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6 concept car that was unveiled at Pebble Beach. It was praised for its futuristic look, luxurious interior “lounge”, and even its obscene length, but no one really talked about what was under the hood. Actually, a better topic would be what isn’t under the hood because the Vision 6 is a fully-electric luxury car. Here are some of the electric specifications that come along with it.

Okay, so it’s not exactly the same as horsepower. Well, it is, but it needs to be converted from kW. Basically, the Vision 6 has the equivalent of 738 horsepower. All-wheel drive is a necessity in this car, as the torque measurement must be absurd. Mercedes-Benz didn’t give us a torque number to drool over!

Like most supercars of today, the Vision 6 features four electric motors, or one for each wheel. These motors are known as compact permanent magnet synchronous electric motors. That’s right, magnets! Not only are they powerful beyond all reason, pushing more power through the wheels than a Dodge Challenger Hellcat, they are also efficient. On a full charge, the Vision 6 can travel up to 200 miles! If you have any questions about the Mercedes-Maybach Vision 6, leave a comment below! As more information trickles down through the internet, we will share it with you!
